Smoothie with the Philips ProBlend 6 technology / Paper straws from Kikkerland
What better way to start your day is with a good smoothie. I have been using several blenders and unfortunately they don’t last longer than 6 months (is it just me?). Which reminds me of a Dutch saying ‘Goedkoop is duurkoop’ (meaning: a bad bargain is dear at a farthing). Finally I found something more powerful and handy in use. This kitchen tool or I must say the supersonic blender from Philips with ProBlend 6 and 800W motor can handle just about anything – from fruits/vegetables to ice. Its multi-speed function will blend, crush and cut for perfectly smooth blending and any consistency you want. Find here the recipe of this luscious smoothie made with the Philips blender. These lovely flavors all work together marvelously. The buttermilk adds its lovely tanginess, the kiwi its delicious zestiness and the ground pumpkinseeds for the delightful crunch.
Buttermilk, despite what its name may evoke – has about the same nutritional value and calories as lowfat milk, yet it delivers a wonderful creamy texture. It gives this smoothie a luxurious consistency, without all the calories. You can’t beat that! Great way to start your morning with this power smoothie!
Smoothie recipe:
1 cup Raspberries
1 cup Blue berries
1 Kiwi
1 Pumpkinseeds
2 tblsp Chia seeds
1 glass buttermilk
