Restaurant de Jong uses seasonal products with emphasis on the use of vegetables, flowers and herbs from their own kitchen garden. De Jong offers every day an other menu, with the choice of a vegetables or meat / fish menu. The restaurant is located in one of Rotterdams coolest area De Hofbogen – a former train station Hofplein.

The ultimate must visit when in Rotterdam. They have an extensive Italian lunch menu and the great thing about it is that the sandwiches are not the usual smoked salmon, tuna salad or mozzarella pesto. It gets extremely busy during lunch time so make sure your to visit them around 12.00 pm or just right after lunch at 2pm!

Hopper offers coffee with choice of six to ten different types of beans. Besides coffee, there are also soup and sandwiches available, mostly organically. You can also pick up the coffee and sandwiches. The bread is homemade. The venue has a rough, but cozy interior, decorated in wood and concrete.
