Muuto Ridge Vaas in Off-White made from earthenware, glazed on the inside and raw on the outside. Characterised by a distinctive form and vertical lines running along the vase’s unglazed outer surface, was designed by Helsinki-based Studio Kaksikko’s Wesley Walters and Salla Luhtasela. Inspired by a facade the designers came across in Paris, the vase’s sculptural form is designed to make an impact with or without flowers.

Exploring how to place the Muuto Ridge Vase in different settings. Due to the unusual shape as well as the rim inside the vase’s opening, the Ridge vase offers a new way to arrange flowers: instead of a bouquet, flowers can be placed in a line. Or in this case I have used Eucalyptus. misterdesign-muuto-ridge-vase-interior-irenevanguin-livingroom-sand-beige-1

The Ridge Vase presents a new way to display flowers through its sculptural expression along with an artful character when not in use. This design features added functionality through its refined dent, allowing flowers to stand upright while also working as a subtle handle when moving the vase from one room to another. It might also work very well in combination with the plant stand and boxes from Ferm Living Accessoires
